At Prodigy International Academy, our admissions process is designed to be clear, thoughtful, and welcoming. We want families to understand us, and we want to understand every child—so we can ensure the right fit and support each student to thrive.

We believe every child deserves an environment where they can thrive. Our admissions process helps us ensure that:

• Each student admitted is one we can support well
• Each family understands and aligns with Prodigy’s values and expectations
• The partnership between home and school begins with clarity and trust

Step 1: Submit an Online Application

All families begin by completing our online application form.

This single application helps us learn about:

• Your child’s age and grade level
• Learning needs and strengths 
• Support requirements
• Interests in academics and sport
• Your expectations as a family and your readiness to partner with the school

Once submitted, our admissions team reviews the application and confirms class availability and fit.

Step 2: Application Review & Invitation

Within a short period, families will receive one of the following:

• An invitation to proceed to assessment
• A notice of waitlist (if a class is currently full)
• Guidance on next steps if additional information is needed

Step 3: Assessment 

Students invited to proceed take part in an age and ability-appropriate assessment designed to:

• Understand your child’s current learning and performance level
• Identify learning styles, strengths and areas for growth
• Establish a baseline for personalized learning and development planning

Step 4: Family Interview

Following the assessment, we invite the student and parents for a conversation with our admissions team.

This interview helps us:

• Confirm values alignment
• Understand learning and developmental needs
• Clarify expectations for parent–school partnership

Step 5: Admissions Decision

After completing all stages, families receive a clear admissions decision:

• Offer of admission
• Conditional offer
• Waitlist
• Declined application 

Our decisions are guided by:

• Assessment outcomes
• Alignment with Prodigy’s values and culture
• Class availability
• Our ability to support the student well

Step 6: Enrollment & Orientation

Families who accept an offer complete enrollment by:

• Confirming fees
• Submitting required documents
• Signing the Parent–School Partnership Agreement

All enrolled families then participate in orientation, where students and parents are welcomed fully into the Prodigy community.
